No tranquilizers used – EVER!

NO - NONSENSE

All over shave (can be shorter or longer) from back of head, including whole body and legs (can leave or shave tail)

Pros: Easy to care for: Minimizes hair/dirt. Good for dogs with low tolerance to more detail oriented grooming.

Considerations: Color of coat may differ from head. May expose scars and/or skin issues. May be prone to: sunburns, insect bites, cuts, overheating or chilling.

BREED

Breed specific clipped body pattern concentrating on the head, neck, throat, shoulders, ribs and thighs. Legs may be hand scissored and kept longer to accent the pattern.

Pros: Breed specific. The goal of this style is to have your dog resemble its breed's standard style.

Considerations: Mixed breeds will have to be groomed to the breed they most closely resemble and may have to have modifications. Not recommended for dogs with low tolerance to time consuming grooming.

NATURAL

Maintains a natural look while neatening up certain areas. May include: removing undercoat or removing guard hairs and/or thinning (to reduce shedding).

Pros: Minimize shedding. Dog looks clean and maintained but not a "new haircut" look.

Considerations: This look requires owner to maintain good grooming practices between visits.

U- DECIDE

To interpret the style (other than above) of what the owner wants for their dog.

Pros: Obtain a one-of-a-kind look for your dog.

Considerations: This look requires clear communication between owner and groomer. What the owner and groomer visualize may be slightly different. Depending on the request, this groom may not be suitable for dogs with a low tolerance to detailed/time consuming grooms.

ALL GROOMS INCLUDE

- bathing (shampoo/conditioner appropriate for skin type and/or issues)
- blow -dry
- brush-out (light brushing)
- sanitary cut (grooming around private area to assist with hygiene)
- ear plucking and/or ear cleaning
- nail trim

FLEA TREATMENT

If needed, we utilize natural flea shampoos

BATH ONLY SERVICE

BASIC (Bath Only)

Bath, blow dry, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and sanitary area trimmed.

Pros: This groom is basic. This is excellent for short hair breeds, puppies, geriatric dogs and maintenance in between groom visits.

Considerations: It may not be enough of a "groomed look" for some owners. It may not be possible to do if the dog is severely matted.

ALL BATHS INCLUDE

- bathing (shampoo/conditioner appropriate for skin type and/or issues)

- brush-out (light brushing)
- sanitary cut (grooming around private area to assist with hygiene)
- ear plucking and/or ear cleaning
- nail trim

(We will only provide bows or bandanas if requested)
