To the rescue...

These are just a few of the rescues that Tangled Knot Grooming has donated funds for vet bills, helped transport or foster until a home could be approved for them. Tangled Knot Grooming doesn’t just talk about helping dogs, we actively participate in rescue. We donate our own money and time to see that these wonderful dogs are safe, healthy and well groomed for the rest of their lives.

Bailey Bailey – Bailey was owner surrender. Her former owners kept her locked in a tiny bathroom. TKG helped find Bailey a fantastic home with loving owners who give her full run of the house and yard. Bailey is still groomed at Tangled Knot.
Griffin

Griffin – Griffin came from a puppy mill. His little body and spirit were badly damaged but with the help of TKG he found a home with people who love him dearly.
Stevie Stevie – Stevie came from a breeding facility that did not provide him with the proper nutrition. His coat and skin were so malnourished but after some great care and proper diet Stevie grew a silky coat. TKG helped get Stevie the medical attention he needed as well as transported him to a new home in Yorkville, IL
Lillian Lillian – Darling Lillian was a breeder dog. She had so many litters of pups and developed serious health issues. TKG donated funds and provided transportation to medical procedures however Lillian’s health deteriorated and unfortunately Lillian passed away. Rest in Peace sweet Lillian
Lissa Lissa – Little Lissa was abused by her previous owners but after spending some healing time in a foster home she was adopted by some wonderful people. TKG helped transport Lissa to her new home in St. Louis, MO.
Mikey Mikey – Mikey is a deaf Pom who’s owners just couldn’t deal with his health issues. TKG helped get Mikey from Iowa to Illinois so he could be seen by vet’s who could help with his health issues. Mikey’s new family understands Mikey’s needs and he’s such a happy boy now.
Bubba Bubba – This little Doxie was left behind by his previous owners when they moved out of their home. TKG helped find this guy the greatest home a furkid could ask for. Bubba is one lucky Doxie!
Chloe Chloe – Chloe was found wandering. Poor Chloe had wandered for so long her paw pads were raw and bleeding. TKG paid for her medical bills and assisted in finding her a home. Chloe still is groomed at TKG.
Harley Harley – This beautiful girl was a burden on her former owners; they couldn’t wait to be rid of her. TKG helped transport her to a safer environment and aided in finding great new owners. Harley is the pride and joy of her new family.
Rocky Rocky – This boy was kicked to the curb by a breeder. He wandered on his own for some time. TKG paid for all of Rocky’s medical bills and transported him to a new home. Rocky still is groomed at Tangled Knot. We love seeing him!
